I don't know how much truth (if any) is contained in this letter, but it
makes a good story anyway.


AN INTERESTING LETTER HOME FROM AN ARMY SGT


Dear Dad,

A funny thing happened to me yesterday at Camp Bondsteel (Bosnia): A
French army officer walked up to me in the PX, and told me he thought we
(Americans) were a bunch of cowboys for provoking a war in Iraq. He said
if such a thing happens, we wouldn't be able to count on the support of
France. I told him that it didn't surprise me. Since we had come to
France's rescue in World War I, World War II, Vietnam, and the Cold War,
their ingratitude and jealousy was due to surface at some point in the
near future anyway.

I also told him that is why France is a third-rate military power with a
socialist economy and a bunch of faggots for soldiers. I further advised
him that America, being a nation of deeds and action, not words, would
do whatever it had to do, and that any support from France was only for
show anyway.Like in all NATO or UN exercises, the US would shoulder
85% of the total burden,as evidenced by the fact that this French
officer was shopping in an American operated PX, and not the other way
around.

He began to get belligerent at that point, and I told him if he would
like to, I would meet him outside in front of the PX and whip his ass in
front of the entire Multi-National Brigade East, thus demonstrating that
even the smallest Americans had more fight in them than an average
Frenchman.

He called me a barbarian cowboy and walked away in a huff. With friends
like the French, who needs enemies?

You know, I've always wondered why you had it so bad that a third-rate, despicable, faggot-peopled country refused to follow you in your foolish war in Iraq.

Despite what you think, know that we actually don't hate Americans. We are actually grateful for what happened when your country decided to join "the fun" in WWII. But hey, since you don't seem to know anything about history, I can't blame you.

I can't speak for all the French but I do not hate anyone, I just pity stupide people.

BTW, Camp Bondsteel is situated in Kosovo, not Bosnia. So now I realise that you don't know anything about geography too.
Now, next time you want shit smeared all over someone else's country, ask an intelligent American (like J2k4) to do it, because he's so much better at it. Damn, he even cuts and pastes better than you.
