Fire Alarm

how are the deaf supposed to react to fire alarms? do they use their heightened sense of touch, and feel the rising heat?

They had a braille fire alarm in one old people's complex I visited recently, for just this purpose.

I bet it's not standard for manky students tho' :snooty:
