Advertising in Games

Ok ive gotten used to the ones on the soccer fields-where when there is agoal its flips the screen along the sides to the highest ad bidder
yesterday i saw a basketball game where they had the led pixl advertising version -
the ads where not only scrolling but [blink]blinking[/blink]?
wtf?
ok sports gets its cash from ads and supporters but seriously...how about some Respect for the players.
Those ads are getting seriously distracting.
its a disgrace.

Edit : (the irony is that even those playstation games have those ads included to make it "more authentic"?wtf)

indeed, i've grown desensatised to advertising altogether since it's everywhere, i just see the boards around the pitch as indicators of the boundary, but the really loud ads frustrate me (stupid frog :dry: )

I uploaded an ad-blocking program straight into my brain which is great as I no longer see adverts. However I do end up walking face first into a lot of billboards and bus-stops these days...:(

Here they also have adds on the ground next 2 the goal :frusty:

Maybe one day there will be
led lights on the ball
by moving it the add displays itself.
