Recommend a HSF (Socket A)
I'm after something high performance to cool a 3000XP Barton, sound isn't too important, I'd take cooling over dB(A) at the moment :ermm:
Only specs are Socket A, high performance, UK delivery
*Anyone who recommends a Gigabyte fan will be placed under citizens bannage :ermm:

i would recommend the Coolermaster Aero 7, but i don't think they make them anymore, you could try eBay
i just have a stock heatsink with and 80mm fan adapter on top, it's not really extreme cooling, but it is quiter than the standard fan and about 8-10c cooler, and it cost me about a £1 from Ebuyer

If you're not going to overclock: coolermaster
Re: Recommend a HSF (Socket A)
yeah no overclocking, i was thinking about the Coolermaster Vortex Dream 7, though the other suggestions now sound tempting :ermm:

My 3000XP arrived the other day and I still haven't got round to choosing a Cooler :frusty:
Most of the Socket A's from Coolermaster seem to be a bit girly, Noise isn't a problem and I don't want one with a special design that sends air in directions you don't want air going in :ermm:
