Text to Speech programs

Okay, I'm sick of burning my eyes out trying to read .pdfs and ebooks on a CRT monitor. :pinch:
Can anyone recommend a decent text to speech app?

you should have MS Agent (control panel>speech) already installed, but i only know how to make it work with filetopia and mIRC.

I only know of this one, but it's no good for what you want it for.

D'oh! I thought text to speech programs worked with any text that gets displayed on screen.
Looks like I'll have to resort to wearing sunglasses just to read my ebooks.
