One day, I feel as though I've taken all the punches life can throw at me and I no longer care what joys and mysteries it holds. Usually when I'm at my lowest point, nature takes over again, and shows me all it's strength and beauty, most often times in small and subtle ways... the scent of freshly mown grass, the wild, raw power of a thunderstorm, a cardinal singing his song on my windowsill, a gentle breeze carrying the smell of lilies of the valley or the sound of those four little words, "mom, I love you"... and my awe and wonder of life is reborn.
