TMPG Enc problem (Might be DivX codec related)

I'm trying to convert my Naruto episodes to mpeg to save space and get them onto a DVD, but TMPG Enc says that the video type isn't supported. If I load it as the source for the audio it doesn't give me any errors.

Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

try this in tmpgenc: go to options, then click environmental settings. then on the vfapi plugin tab right click 'directshow multimedia file reader' and choose higher priority. set the priority to 4 or something.

I really hate to say this but, this is an old problem try the search function next time (tmpgenc xvid divx):) it works great.You will very surprised at all the old info .My favourite saying "if you had the problem, someone else has also"
