We took a quick road trip this week....

Death toll

New mexico:

2 road runners (actually had to take their remains out of the front spoiler)

Texas

4 birds of various types on the windshield

3 rabbit/hares

1 skunk

Unusually low amount of bug kills though, in fact I don't remember one windshield splat

you should have taken a pic of the van with all the blood and stuff

Not much blood, the birds ricochet off the windshield and I saw them on the road in my rear view mirrors and the rabbits and skunk where under the wheels not an impact kill.
