Come on where the feck are my posts going?
9 posts have gone this time? I made 10k posts 4 months ago with this account and every time I sign back in with it more have gone. I make them up again and they vanish again.
I have even taken to the extraordinary tactic of posting useful replies in threads and yet they still disappear.
I sense a conspiracy. Where's thedave?;)

You gotta keep posting, old ones are deleted all the time, so you gotta put some new ones every once and a while.

All corrupt threads were removed today.
That could be related.
Also i saw an option in admincp that goes through the database and counts every one of a users post to make sure their post count is right...i wonder what yours would be at then. :lol:

What is a "corrupt thread"?
And what do you mean by the latter part? Does it count through a person's posts and make sure they're post-count-worthy? If that's the case someone like LP is going to end up on 0.:(

From the move to vbulletin a few thousand threads got corrupted (when you view them there's no posts, or last poster, or any other info...it's basically just a title). Those were finally fixed.
As for teh counting, normally the post count is just increased every time a post is made, and decreased when one is taken away.
But that might not be set right, so teh recount counts all posts in the db with your name as the poster and changes your post count to that.

Cheers Ross, I understand the first bit. The second bit is still confusing. Does that mean my post count would go down because some of my posts are no longer in the db or would it go up because the count would then include my lounge posts?
