fuck tesco
Are they a warehouse club?
Costco, BJ's Wholesale Club, Sam's Club (America) = Tesco (UK)?
WalMart (US) = Asda (UK)
Tesco is the UK's biggest supermarket chain, but the quality of food is a bit ropey.
Also, if you fall on the floor in the dairy products aisle, you can catch aids.
Asda is pretty much the same, except everything is green.
Both do very cheap baby-clothes, incidentally.
That's what happened to Bo :no:Quote:

We don't have a Tescos near us....I shop at Asda cos they are loads cheaper than Morrisons and I know where they keep everything....
Of course periodically they change things around just to piss us all off but I think they just see it as sport.
Oh no, it's a deliberate tactic. If they keep it the same all the time, you learn where all the things you want are situated, so you stop looking.Quote:

Also, the placement of goods on the shelves is very important. More stuff gets sold at eye-level and at the ends of the aisles than low down, etc.
Also, having sweets by the checkouts is a deliberate ploy to trap the parents into getting them for whiney kids who won't shut up.
There is so much subliminal manipulation and mind-control going on in supermarkets that you wouldn't believe.

Ok so Tesco is just another grocery store chain.
Do the bratish have warehouse club type stores?

Do you shop at a tesco?
Nope, I shop at the Spar where I work part-time and get a 10% discount on their 50% marked-up goods.
So that's like 5% more
Dunno, they should have sent an accountant.Quote:

But we do well for a town with only 8,000 population
So thank you Mr Morrison
I have a Sainsburys, Waitrose and a M&S where I live. I shop at Tesco's on my home sometimes though as they have one of those Tesco Express' by the bus stop I catch my bus home from.
Allegedly there is an Asda opening at some point this year but the planning application is being fought against.
What is Costco??
geet big warehouse shops, sell everything, cheap, and the chicken nuggets from there rawk:01:Quote:

I'm a member of BJ's.
My location is about 10 miles away, is next to a nice mall, and sells discounted gasoline.:01:

Bo is right too. I buy Tyson's buffalo chicken strips from their 'cause they are, as some would say, teh rocka.
One must pay a little attention though 'cause sometimes the bulk items bought are not a cost savings.
I many times save about $70 in groceries there 'cause also take manufacturer's coupons. It pisses me off that I can't relugate the coupon cutting to wifey.
She wants me to handle any and everything with teh money.
My mother used to do somewhat the same thing.
I am only 16 and i am a male.So i dont shop.
Yeah, when you get that thing called responsibility, you'll get there.;)Quote:

Tbh, Costco, BJ's, and Sam's Club all seem about the same but BJ's and Sam's were very close to where I live. Costco is over the bridge in Virginia. :no:Quote:

Wifey's mom had a Sam's and BJ's membership for years. Sam's is right up the street (on 301) from BJ's.
