indeed, cawks.
Via the gift of the 'similar thread' function, I've noticed how much less benevolent Chebus has become over the years. Bo has become less of a cawk and The is now much less confident than he was.
All good things :)
Kidding and swanking aside, it is rather an interesting tool for the social commentary.Quote:

How is it more esoteric in the Lounge, eh, answer me that, how is it.Quote:

similar thread item is proof that margret thatcher is unique.
I hear what you say and support your right to say it. However I feel obliged to point out that it's bunkum. Discussions on the relative worth of a certain vijoe card, or mofo is much more a matter for the cognoscenti than looking at bits of pish posted by strangers a few months ago.Quote:

Same here but I was thinking of getting a graphics card (and indeed did after looking at some interweb info). Guests of the forum could also use this feature to find similar threads on graphics cards. Point being is that the hardware/software similar thread stuff could be a little bit applicable to a lot more people than a franglais thread contributed to by your good self Gillian and I.Quote:

Can't be arsed making a new thread but I just put up some shelves, in preparation for the sharing of the homestead with cheese. I'm really proud coz I made them myself and they are straight.

Anyone reading stuff in the Lounge will be able to connect to it at some level. They may not understand the subtle interplays and juxtapositions, however that's the same when you move to a new village, school, job etc so they will be used to having to acclimatise and learn the community dynamic. In the meantime not feeling overwhelmed as they would be in hard-on world.

Yeah but the 'anyone' wouldn't use the similar thread function in the lounge, which is what we're on about - not the tangent you've gone off on. As I've said, the function will only be used by those already well acquainted with the regular posters.Quote:

I don't know where you're going now, presumably just anywhere that allows you to hide from the words "esoteric", "more" and "lounge" being in close proximity.
3-1 now btw.
Was I a bit too esoteric :naughty:Quote:

Something cannot be "too esoteric".
Something can be too esoteric for a person to comprehend.Quote:

Harsh beyond harshness.
Considering the dullness of the work I have to complete before tomorrow that I've been working on since last week, it's highly surprising that it hasn't rubbed off and that anyone speaks to me at all
Stop it, I really hate you.Quote:

You gonna share what esoteric means or do we have to be in your small select secret club?
Ohhh, so you're saying it's an absolute and that there can't be degrees of it.Quote:

I'm doing some really interesting stuff at work just now (well it is for me). Really knackered a lot of the time, but that's a good thing because it means I'm enjoying what I'm doing and getting stuck in.Quote:
