remove the poison.. catch the mouse.. give him some cheese... then take him into the garden :01:
he or she is a fast mouse, it runs away when i go in there.
put some cheese on a dish.. prop a box over it with a stick and wait..
...then catch it and shout I hate meeces to pieces and give him cheese and take him to the garden :01:
I hear these work well.

:shuriken:
tom and jerry------i loved that show. ha,ha
i would give it a name, because it sounds like its gonna be there awhile.
poison will work, but it takes time.
Cheese is a crap bait for mice, chocolate is the best bait by far.
If you want to be cruel put down some uncooked rice, when the mouse eats it,it will expand in its stomache and rupture it.
Did you know that if you put half an Alka-Seltzer inside a chip and then chuck it toward a seagull, and if the seagull eats the cleverly concealed pain-killer, its stomach will explode, lol
i might try the rice method, that sounds good. :sneaky:
The poison looks like it has'nt been touched, we had a few mice in there about a year ago and poison killed 2 or 3 of them, this time its 1 mouse on its own, i dunno if its part of that family or a new arrival....he's probably polish.
Mouse trap called snapper (Victor mouse trap) 99p at some shops in the uk.
use a small piece of soft bread rolled into a ball about the size 15mm and set on the trap, works great.
when I moved into my old house the damn place was full with them, it only took a few days to get rid of them using this trap.
recomended. http://www.victorpest.com/mousetrap_testimonials.htm
hope you get it sorted :)
EasySet Mouse Trap - 4 pack
cheers Buffalo, im off to the shop to get some. :sneaky:
Nice one, they will work well, I did not want to kill them but i had no choice they were chewing everything in sight.
you will find bread as bait will do the trick, good luck mate :)
I've always found humane traps to work well.
They do work but all you are doing is passing on the problem.
my reason for feeling that mice in a house should be distroyed is that some carry a virus called HPS (Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome)
HPS was identified in 1993, means of infection is by breathing in the small particles from urine & droppings.

i bought a mouse trap, put a bit of soggy bread on it, will that do? :)
thanks for the link, it's more serious than i thought :O
don't forget the rubber gloves & protective mask if you catch it.
I guess soggy bread will do, I never tried it like that.
post a picture if you do get it, would be nice to see
ok i'll try, still nothing there..i havent seen the mouse since i put the poison down, it could be dead somewhere, it always runs into the gap under the door - into the cupboard under the stairs.
:"(
he should be playing in the garden :-(((((((((
what do you want me to do? call the RSPCA to come and catch it?
Get a pump action shotgun and go for it.
Nice one :)

The trouble with poison is that the rodent will die somewhere in your house that is usually not accessible and decompose. Traps are the best method but you will be wasting your time if you put them in the wrong place.
They need to be against a wall on the rodents travel path.
Unless the rodent entered through an open door you will also need to go around your house and fill in any holes that could be an entry point. These can be very small as a full grown mouse can squeeze though a hole about the same size as the girth of a finger (which one depends on the size of your fingers)
Also they breed at an alarming rate, so a lone female left could turn into a huge problem
use a trap man put some cheese on it that bad boy goin come out runnin and next thing u kno its dead in the garbage:) :)
Peanut butter works well as bait.
Have you tried leaving sarcastic notes in the kitchen? Mice are quite sensitive.
why?
There are these glue cardboard things that you just lay on the floor and the mouse usually pops up there....place the cardboard glue piece where you usually see the mouse!!!! The ones we have are like poison free and stuff.
So the mouse will stick on and eventually die.
the mouse took the bait - the trap did'nt go off :(
hehe, must be a super fast and very leight mouse then... or bad trap
im a mouse trap n00b :(
