How Many Trackers Can You Keep Up With?

It has recently occured to me that keeping track of numerous accounts on various trackers is becoming a tad bit of a challenge. Due to members of FST being generous and giving me invites to several private trackers, I have "collected" quite a few. The task of keeping the ratios up on all of my accounts and deciding which trackers to put the effort into to become a PU has become a little overwhelming.

How many private trackers do you have?
Out of those trackers, how many do you use frequently enough to become a PU?

Of course this is taking out the accounts you get just to trade for better ones.
If you have a seedbox I am sure it really doesn't matter how many you have.:rolleyes:

I have 40 sites but i'll maybe use 8 of them.

i have somewhere between 40-50 trackers im a member of. i only check about 10 every so offten and and use 1-2 everyday. sometimes i hear about a site and try to sign up and find out im already a member! lmao

i have signed up in more then 35-40 sites...but i use only 5-6 of them

well, at first u r excited because u r registering at the new place, but when u reach liek 300 torrent sites u r member at, it's rather become a nonsense,


like, u r not logging at one sites, and u r disabled for inactivity, then u feel angry that u los tacc in suc ha stupid way, so u keep doing to resignup there, and after finally done it, the story keps back ( u forget to login one a month, and ...)

so generally the optimum number of private tracker is about 15 (25 may also be acceptable but more than 30 is a never ending logging ect)

You've got to prioritize them. For instance lets say you're like me.


I've got Demonoid, TorrentBytes, Filezone, Filelist, TL, Bitsoup, RevTT, SCC iPlay, and Digital Hive.

Now, I frequently use Demon, TL, RevTT, and SCC.

The rest I'll just login to on occasion to keep it from being disabled.

Now say those 4 sites left are somehow too much, three of them are 0-day's, so to slim it down more I'll drop the SCC into the pool of accounts I just login to to keep active.

So this'd put me down to 3 trackers to actually care about, my ratio on the other sites obviously isn't going to change because nothing's being done on them.

That simple, it's not hard.:P

Damn, I thought I had alot. I belong to about 10 private sites and I frequently use about 6 of them. So far the only time when it has been difficult trying to keep up with them all was around Christmas when practically everyone was having free leech periods.

Probably most of us do the same, focus on 4 or 5 trackers even though we can be a member in 20 different others. I guess it could be a bit of a problem to keep up with the ratios, plus there's always one or two trackers that provide that "latest release" and good dl speeds, that's all I need anyway.

I can juggle twenty or so. I just rotate every couple of weeks, making sure to keep track of disable dates for my most valuable accounts. It's a bit of a process, but I'm not ready to let anything go just yet.

Oh Man I Have Loads But Use About 8-9 Of Them

I'm a member on OiNK TL and BitmeTV.. mostly use OiNK and TL.. BitMe not as often.. i couldnt imagine trying to keep up with any more sites..

is it enough only to login, without dl/upl stuff to keep accs active?
ps - these accs arent clean

I can keep with large number of them.

when i started dealing with trackers, i had over 30 accounts..

now i use only 1/2 for each area.

bitmetv - shows, series...
ftn/fsc - 0 day stuff
oink - music
iplay/czone - some nice packs, sports..
blackcats/filezone - games

I counted mine last night, and I have 29. Of course I use about 4 or 5 all the time. I have obtained PU staus on 11 of them. I know I don't use some of them, but I just cn't let them go... LOL Thanks for the input everyone. I just thought it was funny when I look at my bookmarks and the drop down goes halfway down the page now.

Don't get me wrong... If you have that much time to sit and cruise through the sites on a regular basis. I just found myself consumed with looking through all the sites and then hours would go by and allot of the torrents are the same on the sites, except for the sites mentioned for 0Day, music and tv shows. I would say that about 6-10 is a good number to keep on top of things. Like I said... If you have a seedbox or T1 line, it really doesn't matter how many you have.:naughty:

Im on about 30-40 trackers, but only use 15 regularly

maybe i shouldve explained myself better. All these 30 sites that i check, when i visit them, it directly takes me towards their dvdr section cuz thats pretty much all that i download. I like the fact that i hav lots to choose from as i get the variety that i wont get if i just download from a few trackers. Secondly, i know some dvds are offered on plenty of sites but only 1 or 2 of them offer it for free leech hence my patience to visit every single one of them. My 0day, music and tv needs i pretty much get on those specialty trackers. So i guess it really depends on your needs. If i only wished to download scene and 0day stuff, then id probably just visit tl and sct and nothing more.

I think all the torrent sites should work together... and Make one massive list .. sorta like supraNova was...hehe

It was amazing! and easy to use

I check all of them atleast in a week. Its not too hard. Bookmark all of 'em in a folder in firefox and select open all in tabs . :D atleast I can keep track of them , if not use all of them

blackfog, that's a good tip for Firefox. I should clean up my bookmarks and do the same rather than open them up one by one.

I've had to "park" some of my unused sites but like some of the others I'm can't seem to just let them go. :) Probably have around 20 sites but only use about 5.

About 30 i check at least 6 times a day.
About 50 i check only once a day, or every other day.
The rest once a month to keep them active.

I looked at my collection again thinking that I could offer a few of them that I do not really use allot to people on here. I just can't let them go just yet... LOL I wouldn't trade them, but I would give them away. Maybe I will roll the dice tonight and clean out my bookmarks and tabs in firefox. Maybe I will roll the dice and one of my PU accounts will go into a giveaway post.

Think i have about 40 different ones. I use most of them rarely, but some of them, the ones on my top 10 list i visit a couple of times a day.

Im sure Ill just give most of them away some day, or delete them.
