I read them once in a while, but I refuse to post there or become a member because I find Vancouver fans to be a little under the average intellect :P overall. I hated how people stopped caring about the team as much during the recent years when we missed the playoffs something like 5 years in a row. I have much more respect now for oilers fans since I read one of their forum threads about how they were wrong about the canucks this year. It showed true character for them.
I remember reading on the avs forum that they still thought they could catch Vancouver at the top of the NW division about 10 days ago or something. Made for a rather good read :)
And tonight, a 3-0 win against avs after losing in the shootout to them two days ago. Although I don't really like Calgary, they did us a favour tonight by beating the Wild.

I lived in Vancouver in 1994-6 and went to school with a guy who's family owned GM Place ir summat, and probably the teams...not too sure. I became friends with him, went to every home game, sat in the directors box always, was given two tickets for each game to sell to my mates.....and loved it. Granted, i only went to clear the beers out of the free bar after, but i fell in love with the Canucks.
I also got to do time-keeping for the Grizzlies. I had a huge range of sweatbands. Thanks Frank griffiths if you are out there. You took many drugs, so i doubt it.
Sadly, in China, not getting to see much these days.

All the western conference matchups are awesome :) I think I'll be watching the most hockey this season because they are all going to be exciting. In each series, it can go either way!
Canucks goalie is really good you say? That is very true! Roberto Luongo deserves the vezina, but you would all say I'm biased just because I'm a Canucks fan. I think he deserves it over Brodeur.
