One night in Austin, Skizo.
I was driving through Texas, and thought to stop in Austin to check it out, as it has a reputation in this country for being a hip city.
but I can't decide on something, so I thought I might ask you nice people to help me out.
Should I ask Skizo if he wants to meet up? I've never met a board member before irl.
my fate is in your hands :)

Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
Do it.
A few years ago I met j2k4 in person and it was a great experience to meet an interweb buddy in a realword setting.
*In case anyone is wondering, Kev really does converse exactly the same way he writes, his vocabulary is astounding*
Just last month I swung by and saw him again.
I now consider him to be a real friend and you should take the chance on Skizo.
There are several people on this forum I'd like to meet in person but probably never shall...if you have an opportunity to do so, take it.
Worse comes to worst, you have a beer and keep on driving.

I'm just now checking the internetz though at almost 2AM. I went out on Lake Austin for some nighttime wake boarding. :)
Are you leaving tomorrow?

Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
Yeah why not, what can it hurt? Well, your liver and kidney(s) I guess. Mine are usually a bit sore after a manker visit.

Sometimes it's cool. Many times it isnt.

One night in Skizo, Austin.
-
Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
Hoi, Chebus, when you meet up with the mankster does he want to "chat" or just drink lots of Babycham.
-
Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
The Babycham inevitably leads to "chatting". Either that or it's the rohypnol.

Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
:lol::earl:
Where do you get your supplies.
-
Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
Tried to meet up, but it didn't happen.
Played phone tag for half the day and then I didn't end up having the time once we got in contact, though we spoke for a bit on the phone. Maybe next time...
If anyone comes through Austin, PM me and I'll meet up with ya. :)

Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.

that was my fault, i will admit. my phone is cricket(unlimited calls for a certain $ amount), but it was a re-programmed cricket phone, and the way it's set up, it doesn't roam. so he didn't have a # to call me at, i was using pay phones and free library internet as sole communication method which is not very good. also, there is at least one significant tropical storm brewing in the gulf of mexico that will likely hit texas and i don't want to get caught driving through that, so it was the best thing for both of us to just have a phone call.
but he seemed way cool over the phone, and I enjoyed the bullshitting(chat).

Awwww...
That's ok, when I was playing MOH on MP I joined a really cool 'clan/club' and some other regulars would play and post on forums. It was really fun and we played and stuck together for like over 2 years playin' the same game. Anyways, couple of'em were from from my state and we always talked about hanging out over in Orlando at the City Walk or goin' to Univeral (same place really)

Fuck. Really - he speaks like he writes on here?
No wonder he's got divorced twice and his kids hate him. He must be a right annoying twat.
-
Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
Kev your new target, or Clocker.
Haven't you chased enough valued members of long standing away from this forum.

Me and wifey got a 3-bedroom in Orlando Aug. 30 - Sept. 4.
I got round-trip tickets from Southwest for $118.
We are going to hit Universal Studios and IOA.
No kids.:gets drunk at City Walk:
-
Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
Islands of Adventure is great, but I've been there more times than I can count. Last time I was at Universal was when they were still building the new Mummy ride.
Hard Rock Cafe, ftw!

Yeah I've to Universal twice, IOA once.
If you watch the movie House On Haunted Hill, that's the Incredible Hulk rollercoaster but it shows fake people coming off the track.
I loved the Spiderman ride. It's like Back To The Future but you really move. I almost pissed myself on Doom's Fearfall. Once I went up high, I could see the rest of Orlando.
From what I see, $86 will cover me for my the whole time I'm there and I can hit both parks and the City Walk.
Disney has got ridiculous. It's about $72 to go to one park for one day. You get more value if you go more days and/or more parks.
And shut-up, we know you pay squat cuz you are Florida resident, twunt.

Re: One night in Austin, Skizo.
I once rode the Splash Mountain ride at the Magic Kingdom hoping one of my fellow female passengers would lift their tops as we were going down that infamous drop as many others have done before. But alas, when i checked the ride snapshots afterwards, there was none to be seen. :(

Oh noes, not the 'kid' jibe. The most salient of all time honoured interweb insults.
On a serious note, thanks for the support. JP's been trying to pin his crimes against the bored onto my virginal kidly hide for months now.
He must be stopped. The man's a menace :(
