Ahhh, that's what you were on about.
Well done Mrs.JP :smilie4:
You jammy bastard.
Is that a paisley couch.
That's not it losers, just one very, very like it.
Yes I know what to do with it, to the max.
I've been trying to convince myself that I can justify getting an Epiphone one and she gets me this. Incredible.

What do you do with her?
ewe know you can download music right, you don't have to make your own  still, nice axe wound, misses jp!1 :o
What an iconic piece 'o kit.
Lovely.
I prefer Fender's neck profile (preferably a D, given my druthers) but, much like a Ducati, it's hard to fault a classic.
Make sure you get a good strap...LP's are heavy and can be hard on the shoulder.
She got me a Gibson strap to go with it, mate. Along with a good lead (gold plate), spare strings (tens), proper polish and string cleaner. The bloke who sold it to her made up a wee bag of accessories.
I used to have a proper Strat. USA made and serial numbered, not like a Japanese or Mexican one (I think that's the other countries Fender made them in). I liked it, a lot but I don't think it's a patch on this. To look at, to play or the sound it makes. This is really one of those "I never thought I would have that" moments.
She said it was my 60th birthday present. Just giving it to me a wee bit early so I could enjoy it.
Awwwwww. This thread has really brightened up my day. You are a lucky lucky man to have such a wonderful woman.....and such a lovely guitar!
You mean it's the quality of the geetar that makes you sound pants? :o

Miz J would have to start me with lessons...I meant to learn properly at about age 13 - fellow named Leo Skoronski (played for a while with Joe Maphis somewhere along the line), was a buddy of my Dad's, owed him a favor, and offered to show yours truly the basics+, upon receipt of which news I broke all of my fingers plus thumbs attempting to execute a gymnastic maneuver whose genesis occurred while I was momentarily suspended in mid-air about fifteen feet above terra firma.
I kind of under-thought things for a split-second, then properly fell to the concrete as nature intended me to.
Newton would've been proud.
Anyway, all I really can do with a guitar is look at it, and my wife knows it.
I'll have to hope for something else. :dabs:
Good on your (no doubt) lovely Missus, Jim - take a phoatie of her as well.
Sweet guitar!
Nice guitar:) i prefer drum kits though :D

Nice fucking sofa.
That's quite disturbing actually.
