Or fishfingers, egg, mayonnaise, pickle, lettuce, ketchup and cheese.

Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)

Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
See, Alen, you've got all this perverted broccoli/sprouts thing going on.

Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
Tell me what a stottie is again.
-
Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
A Stottie or stotty is a type of bread produced in the North East of England. It is a flat and round loaf (usually about 30 cm in diameter and 4 cm deep). Elsewhere in the world, bread considered similar to the stottie is known as Oven Bottom Bread.

That looks quite heavy/dense.
-
Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
Or like a hybrid Pitta/Nan.
-
Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
"Stottie is an English flat white bread, that is soft and round, about 1 inch (2 1/2 cm) thick and 8 inches (20 cm) wide.
Though made from standard white bread dough, the dough for Stotties doesn't get a second rise, or a second knead. That gives them a tighter crumb"
-
Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
Ok "gravitational order" then ffs
-
Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
It's a nan, but made in an oven not a tandoor.
-
Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
It's just like a big bread bun but a bit more dense
-
Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
and more than 8 inches wide if you get them from a proper place

Nothing like a classic:
White plain toasted bread, buttered. Slightly melted cheese on top, a few slices of ham. Finish off with a squirt of mayo and some slices of tomato. Win.

Re: Favourite Sandwich (Hot)
