I've been playing games for ages now, and about 4 years ago got into online gaming, and it was a revolution (or so i felt) however is anyone finding it less and less atractive as more people cheat.

I used to be a real fan of c&c red alret 2 but i can't remember the last time i joined a game where someone hadn't hacked it useless

what would the solution be then, people are always going to cheat and some hacks are admitted pretty funny and on ocassion they actually add to the game, could this be fixed simply by reconfiging serves and allowing dedicated "clean rooms", or does battlenet have the right idea and increase moderation and kick cheaters off???

It’s good to know most people agree with me, but as I said I acknowledge some people do want to cheat and get a joy out reinventing games indeed where would counter strike have been without peoples contributions it this that made it so great I guess.

I think blizzard runs a pretty good serve and I play Diablo 2 a lot consequently

I think westwoods command and conquer series has been killed by cheaters, do any of the rest of you have games you think have remained pretty good or been actually enhanced by cheating? :D

Or if your favourite game has been ruined by cheats what is it? :(

xbox live has like no cheating on it from all the games ive played :D thats what i dont like about PC just about everyone cheats/hacks

im a huge fan of it but still people can cheat with there game shark things...

i saw a guy ride a 600 ft wheelie in Midnight club 2 with a police car <_< im pretty sure he was cheating

ive played that game since it came out and havent seen 1 guy cheat on it other than the little things like where your car cant blow up

yea, not sure if this is cheating, but in mohaa, people snipe at the respawn spots. that is so fucking cheap!! makes the game stupid.

yeah that's called spawn killing in counterstrike, it really depends on the server operator.

if the server op didn't set the rule, just play along.

if he does, you get banned.

Cheaters suck. I used to adore playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption online until all of a sudden every fucker is cheating and hacking and they don't actually play the game anymore. <_<

Dunno why you guys are making such a big deal out of it, I have rarely come across a cheater in any online games I have played... maybe thats because I just get people I know and play with... I mean come on this is the internet, for us no lifers it easy to do that... stop complaining and play a game, if they cheat they will get kicked...
It hasnt ruined anything and its not making people play games less, and for those who do wish to cheat its there choice, I personally find it crappy considering no one would want to join a game with them afterwards plus it takes away the fun of it all...

Some people just can't accept the fact that they suck at FPS'. Leave him alone. If he wants to cheat just to think that he's leet, then let him. It'll help give a nub like him a high self-esteem.

I've cheated once and awhile with aimbots and speedhacks on TFC but it gets boring very quickly, i prefer the specate hacks in tfc where you can fly around as a dead medic some spec hacks add to the game there quite funny actualy, but alot the spec hacks dont work anymore.

I see cheating is a bit of fun but if you do it too often it's just plain annoying.
