No, you don't have to.
If you chop it and mix it with mayonnaise, it's rather nice, I'm told. Mixing sweetcorn with Tuna Mayo is very popular too.
nope, I just drain mine, and mix with mayo, makes good tuna salad :D
wow thanks

its called chicken of the sea, doesn't mean its chicken
:( i...dont...understand...... :(
Remember to drain thoroughly, otherwise you will not get the remains of the dolphin washed away.
I saw a man carrying a dolphin the other day. You seem to be walking with a porpoise I said.
are u saying there is dolphin meat in my tuna?
There might be, unless it explicitly says "Dolphin-friendly tuna" on the packaging.Quote:

i had one of them earlier - but they don't give you enough damn tuna, it doesn't go to the edges and you get dry crustQuote:

You should cook the dough, and we're not joking about the dolphins.Quote:

thats so sad...dont they see they caught a dolphin instead of a fish?
Almost certainly, the size of the fish and the mammal is such that the same nets ensnare both.Quote:

There is dolphin friendly tuna, however it is more expensive and as Lamsey points out, unless it says it on the can then it won't be dolphin friendly.
Don't worry about it though, if you are content to eat pigs, cows etc then a dolphin is no different.
Sorry, where's the problem? Why does a dolphin have more of a right to live than tuna?Quote:

Why's it OK to eat tuna but wrong to eat dolphin?
I eat tuna with mayo and relish but........I eat albacore tuna out of the can (I plop it in a bowl first). You risk getting Ptomaine poisoning if you eat tuna "straight" out of the can.
Rather than trying to get dolphins loose, fisherman just kill them.
because....there are more tuna then dolphins and dolphins are so cute :)

Lamb - you must recognise the face. Particularly if you eat it.Quote:

Or do you think they grow up in pre-packed polythene wrapping.
Oh, so dolphins are too cute to die horribly so you can eat them?Quote:

Poor old ugly, numerous tuna. They must deserve to die for not being cute mammals.

Show me a dolphin this cute and helpless, then tell me why eating Lamb is OK but dolphin is not.
lamb looks cute now...u should see em at night....they go crazy with their eyes all red and bloody
And is this justification for paying for someone to slaughter them so you can eat their flesh?Quote:

I'm not slagging you here, btw, just trying to understand what goes on in the head of the average meateater. It's interesting seeing how people justify it to themselves, if at all.
By the way.......
Tuna is a fish.
Dolphin is a mammal.
Yogi
dolphins or mammels like US, so no I wouldn't want to eat dolphin, but I love dolphin fish, also called mahi mahi
andd jessic simpson asked if chicken of the sea tuna had chicken or if buffalo wings were made from buffalo.
So you don't eat cow or pig.
Last I heard both mammalian.
hmmm, actually i can't really think of a good reason for eating meat, apart from it being juicy and deliciousQuote:

this reminded me of this topic http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=40656, and that i don't need a reason because Lamsey is biarsed and no one i know and/or care about is hurt by my meat-eating
Chicken / Turkey are they OK.
Eat what you want, but don't justify it thro' phylum.
