BCG Referral Giveaway

Some more. You have 6 hours from this post to use these.

The code may only be used to refer one user. When the referee has Entered their code, the code will become invalid.

Once the code has been generated, the code will remain valid for 6 hours only. If the code expires, you will be allowed to generate another to take its place. However, the invalid code will count towards your maximum allowable codes.

1. Give the code to your friend.
2. Get your friend to goto http://www.blackcats-games.net
3. They must TYPE the word referal into the search box, without hitting submit or enter. Email and referral code text boxes will appear on the foot of the page.
4. They must enter a valid email address (NO HOTMAIL/YAHOO) and their code in the boxes given submit.
5. Check mail for link and follow to signup page
6. They must fill in their details and submit. this will then send them a completion email and more importantly, the keyword.
7. back at http://www.blackcats-games.net your friend must type in their keyword, username and pass fields will appear at the foot of the page.

not sure about a game, i just have 57 referrals (well unlimited really) burning a hole in my account, so may as well use them. and as its me i am not going to get banned for inviting a crap user (or i better bloody not lol)

this is why we dont like members from egypt (and because they are traders and cheaters)

I done that last time, so doing it different this time, and a block means the 1st 10 members to check the thread gets them, doing it this way means its more spread out (IE someone asleep gets a chance in 10 hours time).

i need some bcg friends :/

I dont know the latest code i put up, has been active for 30 minutes and no one has used it, so its not that popular.

and as soon as i say that it gets used.

we are not that good, most new members never even use the tracker, so its completely overhyped if you ask me, or they join and say they will still get the new games from 0 day trackers, we make it piss easy to not get banned, and they still prefer global ratio.

i mean, we all know that the first ones to use the codes (you know, the kids sitting in here and refreshing the page every second), are the same ones that waste their time hunting/trading trackers invites.

Opening up = the same

whichever way we do it, its going to be the same really.

Also, how about interviewing people in IRC, IMHO that is an awesome way of getting the right kind of person in, and it's fair too. Of course it takes effort to set up and run...

IMO you can never really know who you invite in because in GA
people always show proofs of their most used trackers. Since
I got here I gave a couple of invites and I can say that not all
invitees uses their accounts. But some of them really use them
and for them it is worth. Stoi keep doing this awesome job.

No it just means you could invite a cheat, if they have classes it means they have cheats (we dont have classes and we still have cheats), or you invite a prick with a seedbox, classes are bollocks on trackers, especially with ratio only.

whos a better member, 3gig downloaded, 1tb uploaded, seebox, but not the initial uploader of the content, and only jumps on when there are already 30 seeds but 1000 leechers. Average seeding time, 2 days. = PU or Elite

or 1tb downloaded, 1.001 tb uploaded, home connection, struggling to compete with the user above (but does so even if he has to seed for months)on those very same torrents, Average seeding time 50 days but he is still a user.

Sorry but i know which member of the 2 i would rather have. and its the one that has no chance of getting in.

IRC, you said it yourself effort, music you have different formats and bitrates, movies you have different formats and bitrates, games are all the bloody same really, what are we supposed to ask them to weed out the chaff.

Ehm, it's a rare situation when an owner of a tracker dislike the tracker eliteness hype. Not just like the most hardest tracker to get in status (HD one) recently or already for a year?. I know that some people will hate me because of this. But whatever. :D

Classes may/may not be gone for good. Honestly i dont even know because altinertia has left so everything is up in the air.

I would like classes to be based on the achievement table with an activity points like system, so members dont bust a gut for 2 weeks, get the highest class, then just dont bother anymore, and keep the class.

Sounds like a good idea and would help maintain a certain level of activity. However, it'd be important to find the right balance between letting members be inactive as much as they want if they log in and being too harsh with demotions. This, for example, was pretty much unreachable if you are to invite people you trust only:

but the sub classes they can loose/gain monthly.

but like i said its been in the pipeline for months, even when alt was with us, now that he has gone and it still hasnt happened, its looking like a slim chance it will ever be done.

Doing the classes and promotions/demotions i could probably do (with a bit of help from askew1), but giving bonuses etc and linking to the sp i havnt got a clue atm lol

More than likely these are dipshits that aren't even gamers, and probably signed up just because of whatever hype BCG may have.

The site is that good if you're a gamer.

But anyways, 200 referred members just to hit a class? That's a little excessive, no? Unless it's ok for us members(the ones that actually care about userclasses) to come here and hand out referrals to just anybody that asks, there's no way anyone knows and trusts 200 online users enough to bring them into the site.
