I know that "retard" is an insulting word, and I know that people often use the word "douche" when they talk about someone they don't like, but when they use the word "sociopath" to describe a person, do they do it because they don't like that person or do they do it because they truly believe that person is a sociopath? Since I know you have access to DSM IV Oleg you should know that diagnostically the difference between a sociopath and a psychopath is organisation. Sociopaths tend to be disorganised and have poor impulse control, while psychopaths are highly organised.
