Best way to source Ebooks these days? Is there a good community site?

My method used to be:

1. http://gen.lib.rus.ec/ - huge selection
They have a community too but less about exchanging titles, and you are a 2nd class citizen there if you do not speak Russian.

2. Google download pdf epub kindle, etc. It used to work, I found lots of great stuff that way! The problem is it does not seem to work now, maybe Google changed the algorithm to hide anything useful?

3. http://knol.pw/ - but this looks like a scam site.

Any good community out there to share titles in an effective and fun fashion?

I've used the first one, although the URL I'm familiar with is http://libgen.org

I also find that I have to manually resume many libgen downloads.

I've also had success with all of these. I usually search each of them.

I've been manually searching each of them, but I would hope that a Google multiple site operator search would be just as effective.

This website looks very intriguing to me. It looks like a very high quality website. It requires payment, however (credit system), so I haven't used it yet.

It works fine, one can get several downloads a day fro free direct, this is by far the largest ebook site,

you can request books to and they appear for 20x less than list price, so 10$ book for 49cent, one can pay in bitcoin or amazon giftcards

Bibliotik and knol.pw are great. It seems Knol.pw uses a lot of libgen sources books, but has better and faster hosting :)

This is a misleading statement. Many, many books are exclusive to knol.pw (now renamed to http://ebook.farm ); it is only the one cent books that can also be obtained libgen. And even if some of these exclusives can also be obtained on sites like mobilism.org, a message board and a good source that I don't think was mentioned, ebook.farm is very advantageous for its convenience, as you conveyed.

Just trying to provide accurate info to help people. ebook.farm is set up just like an online store whereas sites mobilism and ebookee.org, all the books are hosted on external files hosts; and it goes without saying that this is much less convenient than just "add to cart" + "download"; and you also run the chance of encountering dead links on the latter two sites. Just trying to provide accurate info, it's important that people know the details of all the sites being discussed here for their own convenience/benefit.
