Mp3s from Kazaa?

*sarcasm* Yeah, not to metion that more than half of the files are fakes, and the MP3's are encoded a very low bit rate; it is going mighty strong! *sarcasm*
Personally I find it great for downloading applications.
Regards, NightStalker. :smilie4:
It is still very good. You have to know what to look for.
:D  B) :)
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dcplusp...06.exe?download
There you go, you whiny bitch! Here's an even better app for file swapping, just click the linbk I provided
DC++ RoX.
LOL m0rbid
horrorking.homeip.net ~ 15GB minshare
doomer.zapto.org:1450 ~ 10GB min share
Real File Swappers need only apply.
K-Lite is still good app for Mp3's, at least for me, but it sux for anything else.
DC++ for small to large file sharing communities (Leech and Child Porn Free)
:D :D :D :D :D
I have not seen any changes of my k++ downloads, but I also use shareaza for files rare to find and.... I might be wrong, t is only my opinion.
Question? why are the file sizes different/vary? Are they modified or something?
I've found that for MP3s the best thing to do is to look for files that are 192 kb/s... Since most people download 128 kb/s songs, those are the ones that the RIAA f***ed up the most. I haven't found ANY problems with MP3s at 192. Try it.
That's not mentioning the fact that 192s have better sound quality anyway.
As for the differently sized files, some things are ripped differently then others which results in different sizes. It also comes from being (for mp3s) a smaller or larger bitrate/second, and (for programs) they're either zipped or rarred or something of the sort.
yea leave all the bait on k-lite and kazaa while dc ,mirc, bittorent, newsgroup, emule download without the RIAA on their back
 i've been trying to tell noobs that for ages now they just dont listen :lol:Quote:

:D Thanks for some opinions on this issue. It might not of seemed I was being serious, but I was. :D
I'm still using it, With updated PeerGuardian of course. if I start seeing activity in there I know I got a garbage download from someplace. I wish they would put in some hash mark checking into the client. like bittorrent. I like both, but Bittorrent has no preview. It really needs one for sampling, to be sure you want what you are downloading. Lots of times I find what I want on Klite K++ then download it on bitorrent. I also share my torrent files on Kazaa. And there is a lot of activity on those downloads recently. seems this format is starting to take off. Kazaa may end up being a protal for torrent searching soon.

of course i still use Kazaa Lite, it's good for single mp3's (thou i download more whole albums from irc <_<) and for older movies. a movie like the terminator gets many sources on Fasttrack and i get good speeds :D
the only thing better than k-lite for MP3's is soulseek, i find k-lite excellent to use i have successfully downloaded over 100 mp3's in the past week and all have been perfect quality i think the k-lite network is as strong as ever. :01:
i do admit that soulseek is the best source for music, k-lite comes a very close second :)
Look what You started FC     :beerchug: :D
BOT
I still use K-Lite. I still haven't been able to find a better network for ROMs, serials, keygens, cracks (not saying I download any of them) and most importantly, Simpsons Episodes. I use WinMX for music - very few fake files, bitrates often 192 or better. As for movies, I don't know what to use. And if any has a better way to get Simpsons episodes (Season 15 is most wanted, but othes will be fine) let me know. When Kazaa Lite was still strong, I had 260 something Simpsons episodes. Then my 1.5 year old Western Digital went (clicking noise) dead and offered no help on how to get my data back. They said it was my fault I didn't back up my data (so I'm supposed to back up 20 GBs of Simpsons without a CD or DVD burner or an external hard drive? Oh yeah I should of split the files to 13,889 floppies...
No use telling us lot, only 200 or so people on here. About 4,000,000 on the network.Quote:

Funny thing ive noticed is, allthough the number of users has not dropped anymore now, is acctually staying, yet the number of files being sharing as risen big time.
You cant download albums or box sets, there doesnt seem to be me many sources for the music i like, basicly it's crap.Quote:

Why do you all try to get people away from kazaa?
I for my part dont use it anymore as there are programs that are better in my opinion, but if someone still feels comfortable using kazaa why not just let him?
winMX is amazing for music, but thats about it. Whats good for software?
Is your question related to WinMX or Fasttrack?Quote:

Just look at those speeds.
Within couple months I d/loaded:
- over 500 music videos (~25 GB)
- about 40 movies in DVD quality
- about 5 GB of software
...and I still use Kazaa Lite.
Kazaa Lite will never die!
The more fileshare programs there are, the better off we all are. Use them all and get what you need. I'd still like to see K++ continue on, just to keep Sharman pissed off. Where's Randomnut when you need him. :frusty:
