I wish I did, I'd love to go for a swin right now.
I live in the lake district where the lakes meet the sea but unfotunately I don't appreciate it, japanese tourists spend thousands to look around here but I just drive by it on my way to work, if you fancy a dip just jump in a cold bath and use your imagination. :D
I dont :(
Nearest sea to me is Brighton <_<
   I was just thinking that before I read it, I have a nailbrush shaped like a whale and a pair of scuba goggles, and my shower mats have starfish on them.Quote:

Any more suggestions?
I do, but you'll need a wet suit, unless you prefer goose-pimples on your goose-pimples and feeding sharks. ;)
I have some sand from Brighton :lol:Quote:

Yeah i live quite near a few beaches, but i have to take a train of about 15 mins or so.....I live in Barcelona so if i want to travel longer theres loads of beaches on up the coast, but it takes like more than an hour.
Nice to have an old tan tho

ohh, celsius.
I was thinking, damn thats cold.
I'm a snobby American; I automatically think everything fahrenheit.
oh, btw, it was 41 degrees C today, and thats below average B)
Look at the Pick a state thread in the funny stuff section: by the end of the Arizona list I was crying because it's all dead true.
Yes I do. I had a very pleasant stroll along the sea front this morning. Warm (23 C is really warm for us) and a nice breeze to cool things down.
<_< Show off :PQuote:

I have to say I think the diving board AussieShiela's picture is taken from is a bit high.
I have a couple of lakes and a river fairly close, I could go for a swim today.
If I wanted to, that is.
No mate I hav'nt, although I own about £300 worth of surf vids :)Quote:

No but there's alot of grass here
i live right by da beach!
to much of a pansy to go in though, the waves pound me down to the ground.
Well I envy you all that do and beg that you take full advange of any available watering hole nearby because I would give anything to jump into a cool expanse of water right now. Parhaps I am romanticising the idea of it but the hazy smog and smell of melting tarmac here is making even the lake in the park seem appealing at the moment. :D
@ AussieSheila, Jonno & Biggles - :P
i dont like this thread
no but i did swim across a lake the other day it was beutiful :smoke:
about 100 metres :D
I live about 8 minutes away from the beach.. :D
