Actually, low-end bourbons start at 40% (80 proof), and purities (for alcohol, period) above 95% (190 proof) are very difficult to measure with accuracy.

I have known women who sneer at bourbon, which is neither here nor there, but I'm sure you understand, SnnY, right? :D
