I was working all day out on a field a couple of days ago. I got pretty nasty burns on the back of my neck and my lower arms. And to top it off I got blisters (not from the sun, mind) in both hands.Quote:

It has more or less healed now though (I'm brown in a couple of places, red on the back of my neck, and still pale everywhere else :pinch: ), but it still itches (I get this allergic reaction sort of thing when I've been out in the sun too long).
Don't go out if you can help it, the sun sucks
Just been really 'muggy' here the last couple of days.........................not my cup of tea at all, just makes you feel washed out, unfortunaely it ain't easy getting to sleep when it's like this so I just lie there in a sweaty puddle staring at themirrorceiling :(
Went down to Ayr today. Warm but blowing a gale. Wife and I went down the beach with a fish supper. Fed the seagulls with the remains. We could've been arrested for that. I think:ph34r:Quote:

there was a fly caught between my window and blinds last night, he was fecking about on the blinds making noise at 4 in the morning, just after i finally got to sleep, then at 10am i found him dead on the windowsill, he couldn't have died at 4 this morning, that would have been asking too much
105 °F / 40 °C yesterday.....
I feel for ya vid, that's the kind of crap we had here last week. Today is a comfortable 24°C (currently) with highs of 28°C. Just about a perfect summer day in fact. :)Quote:

I can't go to any beer gardens today due to workage but what a great idea they are. Well done to whoever pioneered the phenomenon.
