Punk Band

Im looking for a new punk band. Any suggestions? i like the style of Goldfinger fo any who know them.

There is no such thing as a decent Punk band anymore! They try and pretend to be one but I,m afraid The Sex Pistols, The Damned, Stiff Little Fingers etc are no longer around. You were born too late I,m afraid. You will have to go back to the old stuff.

have you ever heard of goldfinger? theyve been around for a few years ans released another album back in 2002. anywasy ca nyou name some good ones anyway? thanks

try NOFX, pennywise, bad religion, the descendents and Operation Ivy

Also try TRUSTcompany,Less Than Jake and maybe Finch ;)

There&#39;s no accounting for taste.

Porkshit, these aren&#39;t new but definitely punk. Quick search in kazaa returned results for them. Mostly West Coast (N.A.) bands. The Subhumans, Black Flag, the Ramones, Pointed Sticks, Young Canadians (F**king Hawaii), Day-glo Abortions.

Of course, theres&#39;s the whole Brit scene. Some have been mentioned but no said anything about the early Clash.

Hope you get some stuff you like.

i like transplants and kottonmouth kings and that but would you call it real punk.
dont diss us if it looks like i dont know what im saying. cos they sound nothing like goldfinger, but they arent a million miles away from the old stuff

The Ruts, Stranglers, Anti Pasti, Discharge, Wayne County and the Electric Chairs(Jane after the sex change),x-ray specs, 999, UK Subs,............and the list goes on.
Depends what era of punk you`re after, it does span more than thirty years.Makes me feel old. :D

brand new, the used, blink 182, goood charlotte, flogging molly, taking back sunday .... the list goes on

underground scene <-- oh and have a look there, plenty of decent unsigned punk bands in there :D
