I like the way he uses it, like a magician distracting you whilst performing magic. In Busyman's case the "CaptainObviously" is an attempt to distract you from seeing there is nothing in the sentence of worth or of truth. The name changing and wordsallwroteuptogether are other examples of this. Kind of like how Jonno would overuse smilies as well, he'd realise there was nothing to his posts so he fill it with "flourishes".

It is a shame though, Captain Obvious used to be a great putdown. Now its overused around here (by one man ffs).

Nah all your writing was for nothing. It's simply used instead of just "obvious". Pretty simple.

That and all the others are used when I feel like it.

I'll let folks like yourself get wrapped up in your own prose and carefully formulated posts.
