That brings to mind an anecdote I once read.
Juan Manuel Fangio ( a famous race car driver of the 50's) was once asked by a journalist how he could get into the driver's seat day after day, knowing that he could be killed.
Fangio asked the writer, "How would you like to die?"
The writer responded, "Comfortably, in my bed."
Fangio replied, "How do you find the courage to go to sleep?"
I'm not sure why that came to mind.
Perhaps I'm so laid back that it simply rolled out my ear.
