How anyone can hold grudges against us for not being more helpful or informative about the situation after what has been said is beyond me. But then again, keep in mind ViperMM that english isn't everyones' native language (mine neither for that matter), so some people might not be able to understand what the information in this thread means.
Of course it could also be that some people are just too stupid to draw the simple conclusion that since we know nothing more, there's nothing more we can tell. :idunno:
At least, from what the rumor mill is leading me to believe, ScL is being taken down because of the carelessness of one individual and not a lack of donations nor pressure from the authorities, etc. Hopefully they will rise again with new staff members, new torrents, new designs and a renewed trust of who controls access to the server and its files.
What exactly have you heard? Just out of curiosity of course...
And yeah, it would be good if they came back as I personally enjoyed the tracker... wasn't one of my main trackers by any means but there was always something of interest when I had a look... unfortunately it's getting harder and harder for trackers to make come backs as invariably when they go down their members scatter elsewhere...
Just look at UK-T, FTWR and ScT as prime examples...
Sorry, my mistake then. Took your post the wrong way:
A shame. I didn't use the tracker very much nor were a member of its community, but it's never good to see a site close down. RIP ScL. http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/../.....milies/sad.gif:(
I was referring to what has been speculated thus far in this thread; I'm no longer a member of ScL and I haven't been in their IRC channel for years.Quote:

In all those three cases the members didn't scatter too far at all
