If an established member is a dick, I'm less likely to pull him or her up on it if I respect that member, if I don't - it's practically a given that I will.

Being an administrator or a moderator also doesn't automatically earn respect. However, the two things aren't mutually exclusive as some mods may or not believe. I have virtually no respect for some mods, I have oodles of it for others.

Putting a member on moderation because they were disrespectful will not make the member be respectful to people who don't deserve it (in their opinion), it will only serve to make them more likely to post elsewhere.

If there's anyone her who thinks this is anything more than a source for filesharing, PC related help and information then they really should look at their life.

As to the Lounge, it's not even that, it's a bit of fun and should be treated as such. It's really not that important chaps.
