Where are you getting your audio books, Stehl? We get ours (I grab them for the wife) at MAM. Do you have a better/different source?

They are all over the internet; I would suggest some very strange celestial search parameters, algorithms and codes. :)
(...longest with pars to repair has been about 1800 days... how many human years is that? I'm amazed!) :alien:
Thanks, Stehl. Forgot briefly you were one of those rare NZBers who also visits with people. I can see how NZBs would be suited for this size of download as long as retention was there. I'll probably just stick with torrents for now.
Michael Connelly Lost Light, Harry Bosch number 10
"The Troop" by Nick Cutter
(Pure horror... even has Stephen King's stamp of approval.) :alien:
Edit: 3/15/15 VERY Good for Horror Fans
"The Deep" by Nick Cutter
EDIT: 3/28/15 (Ehhh... The Troop was better.) :alien:
Went back to David Weber - World of Honor Book 4 "The Service of the Sword" (World Of Honor - Complete 6 Book Scifi Series)
(Very decent so far.) :) :alien:
Also knocked off a few days with John Steakley's - Armor ...excellent Military Scifi! :)
Switched to... John Scalzi 's Old Man's War (Series)... 5 Books I believe.
(Pure Scifi.... and never laughed that hard on first book.) :alien:
Edit: Almost forgot... polished off Vaughn Heppner's "The Lost Starship" before starting Old Man's War series stark contrast in these writing styles. If you like simple or mediocre I'd consider the Lost Starship mildly entertaining with the promise of further efforts to come in this vain.
John Scalzi 's Old Man's War (Series)... "Ghost Bridgades" 2 of 5 Book Series I believe.
(Great friackin start!) :alien:
John Scalzi 's Old Man's War (Series)... "The Last Colony" 3 of 5 Book Series I believe
(Decent so far!) :) :alien:
John Scalzi 's Old Man's War (Series)... "Zoe's Tale" 4 of 5 Book Series I believe
(Bit of a rehash of "The Last Colony" story from a totally different youthful perspective with untold adventures!) :) :alien:
Just started Stephen King's doctor sleep... good so far
Current audiobook in car is Goldfinger.... I have the USB loaded with all of `em and just passing the time during long road trips.
I know not the question but best book for me is still EON.... love all Greg Bear books apart from Mars which sucked shite (just unreadable junk). Also Stephen King books clearly better than the tv/film spins off... 'the stand' a particular fav along with 'tommy knockers', 'darkhalf', 'running man' and 'thinner' (don`t think they made a bad film/tv of thinner but certainly did of the 1st 4)
Hello! I'm reading the philosophical novel "For One More Day" of Mitch Albom. I like this because its all about a relationship of a mother and a son. That's what I like with all Mitch's works. It relates about inspirational lessons in life:)
Dietmar Wehr's "The Synchronicity War" (1- 4 Books in the series.)
(Science Fiction, Aliens, Time Warps, Sentient Artificial Intelligences... VERY entertaining for those that like the genre!) :alien:
Edit: Finished John Scalzi 's "Old Man's War" (Series) with the "The Human Division" + Extras... don''t forget the extras! :alien:
That was one of the best science fiction series I have personally experienced yet!!!
Jack Campbell's "The Dragons of Dorcastle"
(Throwing a bit of Science Fiction- Fantasy in the mix... so far so good.) :) :alien:
Edit: Pillars of Reality... Book 1
Since I can`t seem to find the Sync war ones :(....

Thanks will try it out in the car on the next journey
Starting Clive Cussler's newest book. His universe has expanded. He has his normal books with the government agency called NUMA. Then he also his historic fiction line about train robberies, mining strikes, smuggling alcohol during prohibition, and that type of stuff. Moving back to modern times, he is writing his "Trout" series about a husband / wife team of Marine scientists. This is my least favorite. Also he writing a series about a corporation that owns a very fast boat but it is disguised as an old run down boat. These people get paid and sometimes are hired by the CIA. The hero of the series wears a fake leg and stores items inside. I think the name of the hero is Captain Cabrillo.
The latest Cabrillo book is what I am starting to read.
None of Cussler's books are overly complex and they are easy to follow. They are fairly predictable but sometimes that's okay for me.

Currently reading Dan Brown's Lost Symbol.
Rediscovered Wilbur Smith after many years. Love his narrative of the African landscape.
Taylor Anderson's "Destroyermen" Series Books 1 thru 10
(Great scifi... if you like book 1 it gets way better.) :alien:
@Gribley... "Since I can`t seem to find the Sync war ones ...." They're coded .nzb's... (some are passworded too)... went through this with Meg, but if you LOVE audiobooks (...for me eyes are shit, deaf in one ear only 50% in the other) just PM me for the site IF they are accepting new members it's a very good one. :-)
Btw... Pillars of Reality Book 2 is out as Jack Campbell's "The Hidden Masters of Marandur"
FYI... looks like SK's "Finders Keepers"* is part 2 of a Hodges trilogy beginning with "Mr Mercedes"...can we maybe say full circle?
*Nice SK Book btw. :)
Starting on Lois McMaster Bujold's "The Vorkosigan Saga" (Scifi, Series, Books 1 thru 14)
Btw... and for those that care... Pillars of Reality Book 3 is out as Jack Campbell's "The Assassins of Altis"

Just finished reading 'House of Leaves' by Mark Z. Danielewski
What a total mind f#@$%!!! Great book though, I found myself totally engrossed in it and staying up wayyyyy too late every night reading it.
On to... Christopher G Nuttall's "The Empires Corps" (11 Book Scifi Series)
(VERY good so far!) :) :alien:
A bit dated coming from the 90's but very funny - Mike Nelson's Movie Megacheese
"Swan Song" a novel by Robert McCammon
(Like Stephen King's "The Stand", but nuclear rather than viral... Very Good Horror Genre!) :alien:
Now on to... Jeffrey Burger's "Wings of Steele" (Science Fiction, Series, Books 1 thru 3)
Just finished reading 50 shades of grey. Very intense :)
Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
My Alexa ranking and Majestic trust flow and backlinks gained & lost which I read quite a few times a day.:whistling
"The First Bird" (Omnibus Version - All 3 Episodes) by Greig Beck
(Great horror story for those that like the genre.) ;)
"Horns" by Joe Hill
(Decent Horror for those that tread there.) :alien:
I haven't watched the movie yet, but will now. Thank you! ;)
(I hope it doesn't deviate too much from Hill's book.) :alien:
Edit: Movie was a bit different, but okay. Like so many others... The Martian, Under The Dome, even Enders Game, etc.... read the book, as the imagination empowers you to infinite limits! ;)
