ROTFLMAO:lol::lol:
And what happens to that character in the movie:whistling
I know you have common sense, it just slips away from you every once and a while...
That is why i haven't lost faith in you yet:hug:, and try not to think you are a lost cause;)
It is like healing a Hawk with a broken wing, you know it is looking at you as the enemy, but sooner or later the flying fucker realizes i come in peace;)
I can agree with a lot of your picks for sure.....
Here is something interesting....
In my move to the condo i went through a ton of records that i had in boxes in the basement, some were mine but most of them were my brothers......
Now i think i have mentioned that i have/had 2 older brothers one 3 years older and my oldest other olav ha-sholom that just past away 10 years.....
Now my oldest olav ha-sholom loved Rock, and couldn't stand Disco/Pop etc....
Second oldest brother loved disco!!!! I mean i had every bloody extended album in a box that you can think of in his box.....
I myself when i was a teenager leaned more towards rock/metal........, Then as i got older every genre opened up.......
I just had that thought......
Even know i don't listen to some of these for personal reasons.....
Pink Floyd vs.......
Tragically Hip vs.....
Nash the Slash/FM vs......
Saying that can you think really of a bad song from the Album Moving Pictures???Quote:
I liked "Red Barchetta" a lot when I was younger as it really seemed to tell a story I wanted at that time to hear.
Better J2K4's suggestion, think of how many albums made you can listen to it complete without the urge of skipping a song??
I can start off with....
Pink Floyd... The Wall....... For sure if i ever decide to listen to it again.........
The Cars.....First Album..........
Queen... Jazz:unsure:
Black Sabbath......Master of Reality.......
And no compilations or best of :)
Porcupine Tree is remarkably similar to Pink Floyd at times even though they seemed to have appropriated some of this directly from Led Zeppelin's No Quarter.

The obtuse ignorant instigator always knows if he needed shelter from the snow, or wheat germ to fill his gullet, i would be there for him in a heartbeat;)
Sometimes his brain wonders and he thinks he is clever in his postings not realizing that it can cause a chaotic chain reaction;)
So it is like giving your brother a little tap in the back of head to make him think happy thoughts.......

Someone needs to start a "best vocalist" thread..
I will get a jump by nominating Paul Rodgers, James Dewar, Burton Cummings, and...several others to be named when I have a bit more time.
Well, what is wrong with your fingers:lol: I am in for participation ........
Are you sure that is the title of the movie?? You have a link??Quote:
I don't believe that's possible, and I won't take your word for it.
I watched The Joke a while back to please my wife.
I've never been so sorry in my life.
Can i get return on my investment:DQuote:
You guys should invest in cyber-ink.

Are you saying my bark is not as bad as my bite?? You may be on to something there;)Quote:
Please don't; I don't think you know how to be truly malicious.
That will be lots of fun for sure, but i want to see the Mettel!!!, not shit you conned Idol with:01:Quote:
We'll do abortion and the death penalty all at once, how about that?
Actually the way i look at it, Rush made it world wide, the same i am wondering if you can thank Kiss (Gene Simmons) for that......Quote:
Don't Canadians have to default to Max Webster, because of Rush?
But really there is always a few local bands that are just great!!, yet they never make it to world fame status, Max Webster would be one of those bands for me....
Really i never would have thunk it considering your views in life and politics :lol:Quote:
I'll go with Webster; I'm torn on any act from New Jersey - Bo Jovi and Springsteen have both pissed me off with their politics...
.
Thanks for the suggestion buddy, i never heard of them but i will download the albums, and take a listen...
Funny am i being a hypocrite if i listen to the Australian cover band of Floyd....Really Idol i can listen to a lot of there songs as long as Gilmore is singing them, the same i went to see him years ago at Massey Hall, my brother in law worked for Sony BMG at the time and hooked me up.......
Again thanks:)
Agreed, kinda, but it's Vedder, not Vetter.
Nicely posted.
Idol as a raptor...yeah, that works.
I've always though of myself as an amorphous dinosaur - part Bronto, part T-Rex.
No, Cobain is singular, I think - like him or not.
Thought-provoking...
Yeah, Webster over Bon Jovi for sure.
Certain bands are incomparable, and I count Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd and Rush, right at the top.
I will shock you both and add Toto - watch/listen to Live in Poland for some of the best progressive power-pop you'll ever hear:

We could go on with this, and we probably should.
Genesis pre/post Peter Gabriel/King Crimson are all tops.
Janet Jackson was/is a doll - Madonna is a whore, and uglier than homemade sin.
Jackson gets the nod musically, too.
Swift nor GaGa; yuck, ew, etc.
ELP was the first brush with prog-rock for a lot of people; Yes, as well.
I'll leave you with this:
