the accusations of the ifpi are basically false and the server was in holland (other laws).
i'm sure the oink owner knew exactly about the legal situation.
if this comes to court, i predict he'll get away with a fine.

a few questions that I have and a few others may have as well!
what was oink..if that was who was arrested and not another admin of the site doing in a country where filesharing is illegal there for very viable the the public eye. also the ISP or whatever of oink claims to have not known anything about the raid or the anything for that matter.
last but not least...
every good site has a backup right! most likely oink has a backup in hopefully another country. If so would it be possible to be back up weather under control by another admin in a number of weeks or months?
