Not saying that isn't good advice but would maybe ring a little truer if we also weren't also posting here on an internet forum about trackers.
After this consider going to the racetrack placing a few bets and then giving out free advice about the perils of gambling.
Don't worry he will realize after some time that his quest for FTN & hdbits is fruitless and maybe then he will decide to take a long a long look at his priorities. I can't honestly see him getting an invite to either tracker. Who's going to want an immature, potty mouthed 15 year old on their invite tree. There's always the danger he could act like a tard or mouth off to the staff (kind of like OlegL) and get himself & his inviter banned.Quote:

And yet the subtle difference is the motivation for the posting. I never asked for anything of FST. Well, actually, nothing more than a fun conversation here and there and the opportunity to troll all I want to. On the other hand, it's clear what Vorx's primary concern is, and while I'm an advocate for getting your serotonin/dopamine fix in whatever way you choose to, I do think that being 15 and stupid should put some restriction on his thought process or set some standards for his goals within the foreseeable future (as I said, when I was 15, there were very few things that concerned me, and none as inane as glory) - but then again, perhaps being stupid negates that hope.Quote:

I'm sure that there are legions of terrific folk on HDbits.I'm sure the staff ,even the ones put in a bad light here , attempt to do what is best and I sure the site brings a lot of joy to most of it's members. That however doesn't mean that there might not be anything ever amiss or that those things shouldn't ever be mentioned .
Seriously I know that negativity isn't always the most endearing of qualities but given the choice between a little honest questioning of the way things are or the steady diet of inane and probably insincere pleasantries that I have to constantly endure on sites like FSC and FTN , a little thought provoking negativity is a welcome relief.
Or should we maybe consider turning this into another forum bred from little but desire to belong and post only in certainty that we never piss anyone off ( especially ,God forbid staff ) to maintain our comfortable position in the scheme of things.

It's not about seeking attention. I felt the need to start this thread because I had been suddenly banned from hdbits. And yes, according to my diagnosis, I am on the mild end of the autistic spectrum, which is Asperger's. I am just telling you what diagnosis they gave me... Your situation is much like one I faced in my own home recently:
I had a classmate and his girlfriend over several times for dinner. Initially, they were polite, respectful guests. When they first came, they brought something to add to the meal- bread, cake, wine, etc. That was nice, and all was well. Eventually, they got more comfortable and stopped contributing to the meals. I let that slide, justifying it as them having financial difficulties.
As they grew more comfortable, they started displaying irritating behaviors- my classmate started leaning back in our wooden dinner table chairs, I asked him to stop and he didn't- this lead to a broken chair that we can no longer get a matching replacement for.
His girlfriend started complaining furiously about one of our professors. He was one of our favorites, and we did not believe, nor wanted to hear her ridiculous accusations. She repeated these EVERY time she came- regardless of our lack of interest in the stories AND asking her to stop.
The classmate eventually started coming over expecting to be fed, lingered after we expressed our wishes to call an end to the evenings, and (probably most annoying of all) felt a need to take a crap EVERY time he came over, minutes before leaving (weird).
The bottom line- we stopped having them over. Since we were in the same program with them at school, we tried to do so "softly". We eventually grew to resent their company, and did our best to distance ourselves from them. It took a long time, but eventually they got the hint and quit inviting themselves over. I do have a suspicious feeling that they bad-mouthed us to some of he professors.
Do you see ANY similarities between our bad guests, and your behaviors on this site, and HDBits? Not only did you become a nuisance, but you felt the need to start this thread and speak poorly of your hosts. All around, you were, and are, a bad guest. You can only be granted so much leeway due to your "disability". Regardless, you wore out your welcome, and are getting quite close here (and that is saying something with the amount of leeway FST gives).
Okay, don't tell me that it's quite possible that I'll be banned from FST. I really don't want to be banned from here.

You're not the first social cripple who read on the internet that people with Asperger's have trouble talking to others, and immediately diagnosed himself with it. Great as an excuse for their inability to talk to girls. Unfortunately there are a lot of internet losers out there who diagnose themselves with the disease in an effort to excuse their social ineptitude, sort of like the way ADHD is falsely diagnosed in bratty kids who just dont like paying attention in school. Attention that's being broadcast around the globe via the World Wide Web. The "I was banned from hdbits.org" thread on FST might be read by thousands of people. If that many people are reading about him and talk about him, he thinks he must matter.
