Hmm...I don't know about that. If that were the case, everyone would be using ScL, which is probably one of the least active sites I know of. But I see what you're saying. A good tracker design can definitely make a site more popular or at least more desirable.

Edit: Oh, and FTN has the best looking design.

I'll have to agree with Swift. I just can't stand ugly designs :P
I actually "gave up" of some trackers because they were really ugly :pinch:

SCL have a nice design

PtN new design is just awesome!

i like scl`s layout its easy on the eyes :)

most of the trackers i'm on have great design

I've gotta say, even though it isn't the best layout, SITR has made a huge improvement in their design
