There is something on your PC that is using a resource that needs to be replaced by SP2, so try to reboot, and try again. I think that will help. :)

Meaning that they made the service pack available to the PC makers like Dell, Compaq etc...
Or maybe released to manufacturing of the CD.

has anyone noticed that the start up logo dont say "windows Xp professional" anymore? it just says windows XP. is it just me?
Wish mine would hurry and finsh installing, it is on performing clean-up now. how much more to go?
I have finshed and it seems to work great, i did notice that windows xp pro change to just windows xp, and i have some questions about sp2. One is should i enable the windows firewall? and also it said no antivirus software what can i do about that?
