I am a movie addict and have so many favourites that it's really difficult to choose that one particular movie that i love watching the most. Still if I were to choose just one movie, I will choose "Cast Away" starring Tom Hanks.
Sling Blade with Billy Bob Thornton has to be my all-time favorite movie. Next to that is Goodfellas. Anytime Goodfellas is on, I stop and watch it no matter what.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, This one is of my favorites, a classic full of action and entertainment to keep you interested every time its on. films like this are hard to come by, the detail and the precision that go into films like this is second to none. these sort of exceptional films will go down in history.

Every movie in the world suffers. Which movie is better? The human being is a movie. If he does good, the world greets him if he does evil. The world gives him shoes. So always thinks about your life movie.
Although I have several favourites but Hachiko (a dog movie) is my all time favourite movie.
goodfellas
Pulp Fiction
and The Fifth Element also.
baseketball
my fav movie of all time
Se7en and shawshank redemption :D
To be entirely fair I also hate Se7en. Basically I hate any movie that's sad or where evil wins or has gangsters as the protagonists or was directed by a French person or takes place in prison or in Europe or that doesn't involve elves.

The Dark Knight
Serenity. Watch it after you watch the series Firefly, which it's an epilogue to, and it's like a ten hour movie. It's a sci-fi cowboy futuristic space movie/series with hot men and women. Action and romance and nerds and heartbreak. What's not to like?
I'd have to say Louis Malle's My Dinner With Andre featuring Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory. Here's a trailer if you haven't seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7hSY0QOkII
We watched this in my first sem. It was suggested by a professor whose syllabus mainly included the works of Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt. The class was about capital in late-capital society. The film is remarkably relevant to this line of inquiry, though it was made in the 80s. Very low budget--one can see the camera shaking at times; in other instances, you can see personnel moving to and fro in the mirror behind Shaw and Gregory. The entire film is a conversation, save the opening and ending, but there's plenty of bustle since it happens in a restaurant. It's perhaps the most natural-feeling scripted conversation one can find on film. Excellent film, IMO. If anyone's interested, we watched this film especially because we were doing Andersen, Taylor, and Logio's work on contemporary sociology. You can put the book and the film in dialog, and you won't regret it. :)
Anybody here watched My Dinner With Andre?
