Disney cutie who jumped to stardom in her early teens. Made a couple successful films, then became a tabloid/court room frequenter.
Happy to hear all of our garbage doesn't get exported...

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Including Lohan, I find a lot of stars who are really cute during their mid teens turn out to be odd looking when they hit 20ish. It's one of the reasons I jokingly label myself a pedophile.
I don't know if it's just me, but Emma Watson seems to be turning out quite alright. Since I had a chance to sort of grow up with Natalie Portman, no other actress has held a candle to that transition to womanhood. Where the fuck am I taking this thought?

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I still waiting to hear from skiz how he did at the bike race and my offer of ten bucks for a picture of his bike still stands.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets

chalice and his interloper post was also lubricated my chortle gland. i heard somewhere that he's funny now.
-
Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I presumed that was the case. All his posts are a bit like that. :smilie4: I only just got here, i'm catching up on this thread, because most of the others are wank.
I see AllenS must have popped in too. Wahey.

I think barbs had to sort it in the end. He's great at that. Coincidence. I think knot.
Chavis sounded a wee bit cheesed-off, or was that just me reading him wrong.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Indeed I am. She's wasting my bandwidth on iPlayer nearby. I go about in a truck full of logs and chainsaw stuffs mostly. Also been playing basketball all summer. Knot bad at all.

this doesn't sound like you at all.
i had previously assumed you'd found a laptop and spent your days sitting outside of starbucks, using their wireless connection to talk to functioning members of society.
trucks full of logs sounds fantastic though, nice one.
-
Re: Last one to post wins the internets
not sure about the basketball though - and this sub/dom/rp stuff is better kept between you and your good lady, shirley.
-
Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Basketball is win. Especially when i'm not getting pwnt by 6'6'' 15 year olds. Which is not very often to be honest.
This Submissive Domination Rumpy Pumpy sounds intriguing. :eyebrows:

It's a 2010 Specialized Allez Triple. Not much in the way of additions. Some LEDs up front and back for night rides. These pedals. These shoes. It's been a superb bike thus far, though I'd like to transition to 100% carbon fiber one of these days. I need to get at least another year out of this bike before I'll do that tho'.

Emma Watson hasn't gone down the road of other stars who got fame too fast. I think that's the reason she still looks aiight.
I grew up with her (as in generation of films) and was surprised I didn't see a baby pop out of her when she was 15.
Lohan is just a lost cause.

Oh yeah, the ride went well. Great scenery, great weather. After the sun was up for an hour or so, I think we all thawed out and enjoyed it. Finished 49.2 miles in just under 4 hours.

FFS Allen, how did you come up with that?
Distance/hours gives me something around 12 MPH. That's a bit slow for me, but I was draggin ass the last 6-8 miles though.
-
I knew that, well done anyway, I did a 60 mile bike ride in about 6 hours stoping a lot.

He'll make anywhere between a few to a dozen posts, and is usually banned (and posts removed) before the day is up. Later on, the arrow you drew will just point to Mulder's post, though personally I think it'll be more contextually accurate.
If this is already known to you, then fuck.

thanks for the update.
i particularly liked the way he edited his nonsense, implying it made even less sense before he did that.

Specialized makes some nice bikes.I would suggest though that unless you are doing/planning some doing some full-on loaded down with panniers touring, to forgo the triple if you ever upgrade.
Most bikes now having a ten speed cassette and with a 39 tooth inner ring on the front you could achieve almost the same thing(extremely low bailout gearing) running a 12-28 and by ridding yourself of the long cage rear derailleur tighten up your shifting and reduce wear quite a bit.
As for concerns about speed as with any exercise the real accomplishment isn't how fast ,how far ,how much , but simply that you did it.:)
Anyway I always liked this Prefontaine quote "The real reason to run a race is not to win the race but to test the limits of the human heart". One of the reasons that we tend to be more enamoured with underdogs than favourites.
