I found a neat program to help in the slipstreaming process. http://nuhi.msfn.org/
What is slipstreaming and can anyone answer my question of should i disable or enable the sp2 firewall?
Slipstreaming is when you copy the data from an XP installation disk, then add in certain software to that data, then re-burn that installation cd, so when you go and reinstall from that cd, it'll have that software that you added in already installed. This is most commonly done with the service packs. That's when you see stuff like, Windows XP Pro Corp with Integrated SP2.
In this context “slipstreaming” is to integrate SP4 into windows XP setup so when you install everything is all updated with SP4.Quote:

It really is the best way to use a service pack..
And for the sp2 firewall I would keep it on. Just remember to open the ports you need..
my ports were open before i installed, can someone tell me how to make a bootable windows xp pro corp with sp2 cd?

Ariel_001. I think you are mixing up XP with 2000. There isn't an SP4 for XP yet. :01:
