When I first knew abt it...I called my big bro(friends)...R And Y...then posted it here.....They opened the a/c...and asked me..."Did u open?"......I was in the mood:cool:...said "u have it...why should I open...when i need i can go to u"...Both of them got furious...R said " [vulgar words/they don't mean that]u just got a chance to open at bcg.... may be 20 bangladeshi have this a/c and u goat(actually big goat) don't want to open an a/c at bcg.....OPEN iT Now"....Then I was lyk a fused bulb :( and went to signup page....I filled everything and press the button....and error...error...again error..:blink:..then i called them and they said...."I knew u have a brain of goat....I didn't knew that u have eye sight of Rhinoes(blind)"....then he told to read rules and faq which I was told clearly(under the error)....
This time I was relieved.....I filled everything...pressed Rules and FAQ...going to press "Sign up"..then cheeewwwww....load shedding started.....What a joke:cry:....
After the load-shedding...I was able to open it...People say....great Achievement comes with great difficulties...Even it's just a signup:pinch:

BCG is closed now, we didnt quite manage 19,000 it was more like 6,000 but it was open for 4 days or something.

"Archives is a simple voting based content generation system.
You can vote for content to be uploaded and on slow days the archive system activates and
the content with the highest vote values commences. Once a release hits a minimal vote value
of 10 it becomes part of the queue system. As more votes are applied to a release the higher
the points value and the greater chance of it being regenerated.

but the system is not without bugs and drawbacks
torrents at Iplay are very poorly seeded once they are older than 6 months or so
i once downloaded a 5 GB file which had only 3 seeders so very very low speeds
it took me 7 days to complete the DL,
but the Iseed system compensated me only for 30% of the filesize (as only 30% was finished in 5 days)
i kept seeding, but the ratio took a hit :(
safe to say, IPlay is good only if you look for torrents not older than 6 months
for anything older, Filelist has much better speeds
When you add systems like that to help people avoid ratio trouble, retention tends to decrease. When people are done with that torrent (seeded for 72 hours, got a 1:1 ratio), some will stop and delete it, as if they keep on repeating the cycle they'll be fine as long as the rules are concerned. Although ideally they should seed as much as they can - since that will make the torrent live longer and they won't be "stealing" others' ratios anyway. Sadly, there's no silver bullet, and you can't please everyone.Quote:
