Sorry to interupt but I have another one that's been on my mind lately, it was an American TV show, came out back in the 70's I'm pretty sure, it was just a everyday cop drama, but here's the kicker, and it's also the reason no one believes me, Bruce Lee, the man himself was in the pilot and he made a few more cameo appearances in a few other episodes as well. I don't remember exactly what his role was but I think it had something to do with him teaching the cop Jeet Kune Do, cause the cop got his ass kicked or something, it was a great show I thought but it got cancelled pretty quick, shoulda made Bruce a regular perhaps <_< . No one believes me on this, everyone says he was only in movies and the only time he was on TV was in the Green Hornet, but I know it was him. Any ideas? :(
Well you can tell your friends "I told you so", because he indeed worked on a TV show from 1971 called 'Longstreet' IMDb link.
He's credited as the fight arranger, but also had a small role plus a few cameo's.
The series wasn't a great success though, so that's why not many know about it. :ninja:
Yeah that was it, Longstreet, ok :D
Thanks Notorious, already threw it in their faces
Nothing is more satisfying... :lol:Quote:

From what I can remember it's a movie about the war in Kosovo or Sarajevo...not too sure about that. The story is about two soldiers from opposing camps.
The only scene I can remember is one with the legs of a manequin-doll falling out of the sky attached to a parachute.
The director is a naturalised Belgian, originally from Kosovo(I think).
And it won a price 2-3 years ago in Cannes.
That's all I know about it but I'm really desperatly looking for it.
Thanks to anyone that can help me :)
That movie's called 'No Man's Land' Cannes FilmFestival Link and it won the prize for best scenarion in 2001.
Btw there's a special pinned topic called 'Movieworld's Lost & Found' for these kinda questions.
Thanks a lot NotoriousBIC ;)Quote:

Sorry, but I overlooked the pinned topic.
No problem Funk Mob, as you can see a kind mod merged your topic into this one.
It's a very good movie btw. I saw it at the Rotterdam Film Festival and was very much impressed by it. Very recommended for anybody interested in the (non)sense of war.
Got another one -
I only remember one scene. A car is chased by the police. The driver pulls into a parking lot/car dealership filled with cars identical to the one he's driving. He parks in an empty spot , ducks , and thus evades the cops.
Can't remember anything else - just saw the scene in a store once.
Good luck !
There is a scene, I think it is in the middle of the movie, with a black dude talking to the main character about god. They are in a prison cell and the black dude is smoking a cigarette telling him that jesus is all around us or something. I think it is fairly recent movie, and i think it is main stream. I just cant remember anything about it.
Here is another one, it is an 80's movie I think, and the only scene I can remember is the main character is in a military style dorm with a bunch of other kids. Th military, or big brother type figure is feeding the kids some kind of drug in theor food and brainwashing them over loud speaker while they sleep. I think there was a scene with German shepards, but I am not certain. Sorry I couldnt be more descriptive, but that is all I can remember.
Sorry guys, I haven't been able to find your movies, although Freds' is on he tip of my tongue (I remember that scene from somewhere).
Perhaps you know the type of car Fred?
Kingpimp: your first one resembles a scene from 'The Green Mile', but the black guy doesn't smoke in that.
And could your second perhaps be a scene from 'The Boys from Brazil'?
No, it wasnt the green mile. The guy has cornrows (sp?) i think and it is set in the present time. I think the guy in the prison cell is saying something about how god is always around, and can never leave him. I think the movie is about someone losing their faith. This is pretty easy, and i know i have seen the movie a couple times. I just cant remember.
hmm i'm stumped to. The Boys Of Brazil's a good guess notorious.
Aha, I remembered it. It's a scene from 'Bedazzled'.Quote:

Funny that you would remember that and not (at least) one of Liz's luscious legs...
Nice work. You are a supergenius, you should be on the cover of magazines. That was a good call on Elizabeth Hurleys legs, she is a fox. By the way, how do you have such a vast knowledge of movies?
Photographic memory B)
And some help from mister Google and mister IMDb....
im in need of a movie name, its called 'The Last Chance' or sumin, its an MTV movies :frusty:

Let's put you people back to work ;)
Animé series , early 90's. Basic plot :
Spaceship is carjacked by aliens. They turn the crew - a family - into Really Big Robots and set up shop on the dark side of the moon , from where they launch space seed pods (?). A group of heroes fights them , helped by one of the bot-guys who lost his memory. When his transforming crystal breaks , they build him an even bigger robot that'll help him transform. Then there's this big ring around the Earth where most of the fighting takes place. Ideas ?

Anybody know the name of this horror movie that had a ouija board, that they use the board and spirts and demons go after them???
or any other ouija board type movies?
you're prolly thinking of "Witchboard."
that would be "possessed".With Timithy Dalton.About the devil possession after his chars. war experences. He plays a Pastor in a Christian school in the 1950's,from which he is then chosen to cast the "devil" out of a child name Robby. He does in the end,yet with many troubles from his past an the spirit with in.I must say there is a scene in the movie where Robbie when under the spirits control urinates an tells the pastor "Afraid to walk on water there".Its based on a true story,in LSU.Truly a great moive.
don't forget "The Exorcist." prolly one of the biggest reasons for public paranoia about ouija boards.
For people who are interested in movies here's a fun quiz.
Goto http:/www.liquidgeneration.com (great fun site btw)
After the intro and other blabla you'll see a link called 'Trailer Park' in the lower left corner.
On the left hand side you'll see links to new trailers BUT on the right side you'll see a list of the 'Movie Poster Game' (MPG for short).
Just play a few to test your movie poster knowledge
a friend told me about this movie the other day.
some guy goes psycho & starts to kill people. he said he remembered that he build some kind of underground room or freezer or something where he'd kill the people in.... it also might of had something to do with like demons posessing him or tellin him what to do....
thanx for your help ;)
maybe "the ugly"? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120401/
Any chance it's the italian job (the original 1969 version)?Quote:
