HDbits,Good news ( or not depending on your point of view)

I'm just wondering where all you potential members of HDBits were a year ago when invites were easy to obtain, are all of you completely new to torrenting or what?

Yea, that sucks for them. That should teach the people that paid to get an invite to never try something like that to obtain a site. Anyways that sucks that invites will not be open i herd that hdbits was a great site.

yeah real sucks that half any decent HD site will have the exact same files as HDBits. From what I hear then HDBits has only its internal encoders going for it and even then just wait an hour or 2 before TL, IPT, RevTT etc the same torrents that you can download.

I dunno about everyone else but in my case I didn't have an HDTV or the spare disk space to download HD content. Now I do, and now it's closed :(

It's not the first time they've announced that they'll open invites, then cancel supposedly because of all the sellers and traders. So, what kind of morons would they have to be to try it again thinking the same thing wouldn't happen, especially after they announce it several days in advance?

The funniest part about the whole thing is that what they're doing just pisses off the normal members who would be interested in joining who would be assets to the site, and it drives the site's "value" that much higher with the trading and selling crowd.

My opinion: It was all nothing more than a ploy to try to get their site bumped up to level 10.
