Well thank you. No, Guatemala isn't an english-speaking country. It's quite the opposite. The "official" language is spanish. However, most people (even though they say they aren't) are mayan-descendant, so there are about 20+ (major) mayan languages, each according to the region they are located.

When I got out of high school, my average would be a 3/B/83. However, university has been a bitch. I won every class in the first semester with good grades (again, a good 3/b/8x average). However, the second semester was a bad one. Only passed one class, and with the minimum. Now I'm battling to get my average up and running again :)
But now it's gonna be harder with a job :angry: hehe jk well at least I'm learning more responsibility than what I had.

Olololol. Lemme see. The courses I take every year are mostly 2 important ones: Math and Physics (the other is computer programming, but this is more because of system engineering rather than just engineering). I guess they help you be patient and think about stuff before you do it. It's pretty hard, but it just takes time to learn :)

The physics I used to do in high school was the calculus based kind. "If you apply a force of 80N to a 10Kg box what is the acceleration" (obviously one of the easy examples ;)). At uni I was doing Mechanics & Materials and Waves & Optics.

Wow, I could not survive in those classes, 4th gen. Let me ask you a question: how long does it take to finish you schooling to get your bachelor or whatever it is called. And what is the job market like where you live?

The bachelor degree is a 4 year course and the master degree is a 5 year course. Not sure about job prospects at the moment.

:lol: counter-trike is almost as addictive as alchohol or the mary jane, so your problem was almost as bad as mine. :lol:

Yes I do live in Guatemala. I was born in Costa Rica, though. I&#39;m glad my english doesn&#39;t suck. I was taught in a good school though :)

Yeps. It all adds up just before finals, when you see what you can still salvage from the semester, or just throw it to the trash :frusty:

Gladly, I learned the lesson. Right now, I&#39;m doing MUCH better, I&#39;m not missing classes, etc. And hopefully, this adds up to the fact that I start my new job on monday&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; w0oh0o&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; :01:

Actually the place I live has 99.9% pure water, so that&#39;s no problem. You can drink right from it :)
