dunno about a uk-t2 but im glad many of them have been welcomed with open arms at a certain other site. anyone know if they saved the db and shit so if they do get it going they can send emails to all of us and let us know?

Not sure what the correct protocol is here, so I will ask in this thread since it concerns UK-T Refugees. I was a member there for 4 years (inactive for the past year or so)I belong to another private tracker..a similar site to UK with the same sort of close knit community. How would I go about offering invites to some of the UK-T refugees gathering over here. You wouldn't, because:

1. You are not allowed to offer invites in this section. You'll have to wait until you get access to the giveaway section.

2. I'm pretty sure the similar tracker doesn't want invites to be offered here.

You can fill requests after 30 days in private though. Just be aware that there will be a lot of people wo claim to be former UK-T members. Only invite people you really remember.

Just because a site disables you a couple times for your own stupidity, that does not make it ok to act like a bitch and laugh at them when they go down. Especially when staff(or perhaps even members) may get in trouble.

I guess all we ex UKTers can do is wait the 30 days to get access to the other area and see if we're lucky enough to get an invite elsewhere.

I just can't belive its gone... really loved UK-T, It was a great tracker with great people :cry:

I think it's nice to see that a lot of us have found our way here at least, many of who I concider my friends, but never talked to besides on the forum, IRC or in comments...

I must admit, the bitching we receive here from the IQ0s makes me think about participating in FST, I was possibly spoilt by UKT but the reception here (by the few)spoils the site for me. the same people seem to troll in the other sections of FST as well.
On UKT, we took the p1ss out of each other but with humour and no animosity or offence taken. I know each site has its share of idiots but UKT weeded them out.
I hope once PMs are allowed on this site, we can get organised and leave you all in peace to enjoy the numpties.

This site is open to sign-up for anyone, even those with nothing better to do than insult people just for the sake of it, so you need a bit of a thick skin to enjoy FST. On the plus side this site has a wide variety of members with often completely opposing views and opinions and this leads to plenty of interesting threads.
I've learnt a lot from people on this site, you just need to ignore the numpties. It's not always easy to do and I've stopped using FST a few times, only to come back to it a few months later.

I came from elitetorrents and when it was closed PAFaieta invited me. I wasn't active in the forums much so I was not friends or 'known' on that site really. I just enjoyed the site.

well, we're just waiting the 30 days it takes to be able to PM, I fully understand the need for the delay, concidering trolls and spammers that usually ends up in public forums, but in this case it's quite frustrating

Because there is a reason I used a private tracker, to stay...private. The user who invited me, that's his username on the site, I assume it's an alias as mine was.

The date just shows when I started there, and never looked back.

If you feel someone has crossed the line between (attempted) humour and actual hostility , or if someone is a little too persistent in their trolling , feel free to report them .

FST is a fairly tolerant board but not tolerant enough to allow personal attacks against any of it's members .
