What type of internet connection do you have ?

I'm on 4mbps cable

its pretty decent for the place I'm living

Got a hacked CC modem. Pulling in 38/10 constant. None of that speedboost crap. They only offer 6/1 in my area :D

I have a quick speed, pulling 83mbps download and 41mbps upload. Thank god for my unmetered bandwidth at my college :D

in home a have 8mbit download and 756k upload speed :D but i have a seedbox 100mbit up/down lucky me

I pay for 9mb down and 1mb up but I only get near that during off-peak hours...otherwise I get half that.

i m on 2mbps line, probably the fastest here in India :P

6M/1M here, a bit slow.

10mbps which sounds great untill you hear its with virgin, when its running its great then they do something called bandwidth shaping, which drops the speed to 1/5 the speed for 5 hrs.
This works in 2 tiers,10am till 3pm then 4pm till 9pm, this is how it works
if you d/l 3gig in the morning (10am till 4pm)you get punished for 5 hrs, then if you d/l 1.5 gig in the evening(4pm till 9pm) you get punished for a further 5 hrs.
Worst of all you still have to pay full price for this service,they do not shape your monthly subscription because they can't provide a full working 10 meg connection.
