If you are using genuine Windows 10 version then regular update of OS and free Windows Defender will be enough for you until you do some shitty thing with your laptop...
I agree with Sayantika...Windows Defender....but I also run Malwarebytes with that...haven't had an issue since...
Norton is what I have been using for years. Good deals for 10 licences on amazon so split out between family members is literally a few pounds/dollars each for several devices covered.
MSE or Avast is what I have been using for years without any issues.
Windows has everything you need, don't install anything.
Defender is a great scanner and won't ruin your system, like third-party scanners do on the regular (or cause other problems, with Windows updates especially).
Plus, considering multiple of them have been caught collecting user data, I wouldn't trust those companies.
havent used a 3rd party A/V service for decades..if you need one then you shouldnt be using a computer.
ESEt NOD32 antivirus ,unlike many other nod 32 actually stops many viruses from getting on your PC rather than 'your PC is infected what do you want to do?'
I gotta agree with just using Windows Defender. It works as well as anything else and it's free. If you must spend some money because of an "if it's free it must be worthless" mentality, I'd go with eset nod32 as several others have mentioned.
Been using Malwarebytes for years - works great for me!
