Is this thread exempt from size limit imposed lockage ?
 What you mean b?
I thought the "lockage" only happened once a thread exceeded 1000 replies.

hi KLBoard Members,
i want to remind you of one very important rule of this forum: Max Signature Size ( especially the image sizes ).
Quote:
Signatures will be restricted in size and content. Signatures may not excede a 495x150 pixel area, this includes all images and text used. The total file size for all images contained in a signature may not excede 100,000 bytes. Signatures that do not comply may be removed or edited by a moderator or administator.
- max 495x150 Pixels
- max 100 KB ( for ALL Images Together )
Also Avatar Size seems to be a problem atm .. 300 KB for a 80x80 big picture is inacceptable.
Please check that the size of your avatar image and your signature images are under 100 KB ( Together ) !
Why ?
- speed
- readability
- we also have 56K/ ISDN Users
Signatures and Avatars that do not comply may be removed or edited by a moderator or administator.
That's what we are going to do now ...
bye

Ok Well it took alot of cutting to get my avatar down to an acceptable size but here it is. I had too cut most of the burnout out. I use 123 avi to gif to convert it which was really easy but I think maybe there might be a program that will let me get more of the burnout and still be an acceptable size. If anyone knows of such a program please let me know. :D
Once you've converted to gif, try Ulead Gif Animator to reduce the palette size etc.
You should be able to reduce the size quite dramatically.
