Even if I did that the Procurator Fiscal / Police would take no action. I could walk into the Police Station and hand out copies, I wouldn't be arrested. It's not a criminal matter, the authorities aren't interested unless people sell them.
The bottom line, old bean, is that your only defence for stealing a microwave is that I share files. No matter how much you wriggle on the hook it changes nothing.
