I still can see myself copying the first Monkey Island
since 1991..
since 1998 when i first got my new computer. so its 10 years now.

since about 2000, roughly 8 years now- when we got a computer which allowed pirating to occur.

since about 91-92 before i had the net and used to rip cds onto my comp and take them back to my friend at the cd shop and then make copys for my friends or send it on the network at school 1st time on the net i cant remember but it was mortal kombat 4 when it first came out and i still have it now lol kinda sentimental value

More than 5 years and I regret to say that I started using private trackers only recently
3-4 years. The first ever pirated software i used was TypingMaster.

Since I've had a consistent internet connection back in 98. I used to use all FTP's back then. It was well before Napster.
After I filled a huge box of useless paid-for retail software that was full of bugs and useless. Started with BBSs in mid-80s. Gawd, we thought we were cool when 1500 baud modems came out to replace 300 baud ones. :D
I have been torrenting for 6 years. I came into my first private tracker for ca 3 years ago. My first private tracker was a Swedish one.

torrents for prolly 5-6 yrs...
even b4 that tho...it was stuff like soulseek, shareaza, limewire, emule, morpheus and napster b4 everything else + i pirated games (bought 'em) - i've nvr bought an original game in my life (and prolly nvr will)
